    I'm sorry, I had no idea that in USA you could buy 912s all day
    long for under $10K.

    I don't remember the last time I saw a complete 912 here for
    under $20,000.

    I bought mine early last year form Melbourne for under 20. Though complete needs a rebuild

    I do not know what days(or decade) you are talking about but "all day long" under $10K here in the States for a decent 912 is not realistic and has not been for a while.

    The car you have been discussing is owned by my friend here in Santa Fe and is still for sale. It's a solid California car, all original numbers, runs great, has some cosmetic needs but can be bought for what is apparently a VERY reasonable price in today's market.
    Look for his (our) ad with a better description and pictures and PM me for more information.
