    1973.5 911T Coupe

    VIN 9113103135

This 911T was originally sold new at Porsche Audi of the Palms in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is equipped with factory air, S appearance group, leather seats, sunroof, power windows, rear defrost, factory sway bars, and the ATE "cookie cutter" wheels. The car eventually found its way to Tallahassee, Florida where the previous owner purchased it in 1980. I purchased it from him about 6 months ago.

The car came with a stack of receipts indicating an engine rebuild to 2.7 spec, conversion to Weber carbs, a gearbox rebuild, and a repaint. In addition the records show that the car was not used very often after most of the major work was completed. It retains the original tool kit, matching spare, and all books and manuals. I estimate that the chassis has aprroximately 107k miles and the odometer was reset when the engine was rebuilt and it shows a little over 3,000 miles.

The original color of the car was Bahia Red, however, it was changed to Guards Red when repainted and was finished to a very high standard. As it was done nearly twenty years ago there are a few areas where it is less then perfect, but overall it is still very good.

Interior is also very good with excellent door pockets and gauges. The dash has been covered in leather and it feels like the original dash pad is cracked. It is very presentable as is, but a fresh dash pad would make the interior perfect. For seats, the car has a set of vintage Recaro sport seats that were sourced from a BMW 320is in the late '70's. The previous owner stated that they came in the car when he purchased it in 1980. The seats are dated 1977 and, in my opinion, look great in the car.

Just prior to selling the car, the previous owner installed new rear shocks. I did some basic maintenance and had the carbs tuned and adjusted by Bruce at Klub Sport. The car runs great and the factory air has been updated and works great. My two sons and I just finished a weekend in Mt. Dora at the PCA Zonefest with the car and it performed flawlessly. The a/c worked great and the car handled and drove just like a sorted 911T should.

    Asking $27,500

    New England

For those of you in the Northeast....I have this car loaded on my trailer and it will be spending the next month with me and my family in New Hampshire. We decided to bring this one as our summer car instead of one of the hot rods as it is such a pleasent car for touring.

Save the shipping if you are looking for a nice '73 T.

The car is now in New Hampshire for July. Took it out for a drive yesterday and had a blast.

    Update

Just got back from a trip to town and the grocery store....this car makes even running small errands a ball of fun. Thank goodness for the cold a/c as it has been rather hot up here for the last few days. Still available and as a reminder, I will deliver on the east coast for no charge.
