    I think it's a rusty normal SWT with a spare S engine.

    No S

And the spare engine, I think, is a later Mag case...a T perhaps. The red shroud is misleading.

I told the seller, asked for more numbers, including the stamped one. Let's see what else we learn besides wrong instruments, wrong dash of any '67 (unless it is a deLuxe , no Webesto (spelling?) heater gear, etc. etc...

Those are S pistons pictured and the crank is CW so
assuming they are all from the same engine it's not
    a 69T.

It does look mag to me too but perhaps that is layers
of grime obscuring the true colour.

I also see the windage trays inside the crankcase, when
    were they phased out?

    Look at this

Casting number. For one, I had the same on a '70T I had.

It's a normal, a VERY clapped out one.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.

Clearly not an "S"......the only thing that's "S" about the car is the badge on the trunk. The ID plate on the front latch plate clearly says it's a 911 not a 911S in the "TYPE" box.
