    356B Roadster . . .

    . . . . at Fantasy Junction

Not 'numbers-matching' but still a beautiful car, and this asking price actually looks realistic. I know times are tough, but . . . . its a great time to buy cars again!

    '62 B Roadster

Please correct me - I know I don't need to ask that! - if wrong, but I thought that '62 B roadsters were twin grill's...
Had one, my first Porsche, in '68. Long gone, sadly.
    Just curious -

    356B Roadster

    It's not a 1962 roadster.

1962 Roadster has a Square (T6) Hood and Twin Grilles

The last 356B Roadsters were built in late 1961 by the body builder Dieterin. They were built in both T5 (Single Grille/Round Hood)and later T6 (Twin Grille,Square Hood)bodies.

These Porsches were NOT built in Germany but in Belgium!

The Bodies were then sent to Stuttgart for the them to be completed (Engine/Trans, Paint, Interior etc)...

Around the same time period a women named Carroll Shelby was also doing the same thing and was also buying the bodies in a foreign country and then completing them here in So Cal...

We all know what a terrible idea buying foreign bodies was and what a total failure is was for Ms. Shelby
