    Anyone familiar with this one?

    All,
Seems to me I just saw this car discussed here on the board - I can't seem to find the thread...

Anyway, does anybody here know this car? I have a client who's very interested in taking a closer look at it...car's in Sacramento, someplace...any names for a PPI?

Seller says "steel RSR flares" I know those are seriously rare animals...are these (the more common) turbo flares, or the real deal? I can't quite tell the difference from the pic...

Thanks, all...I sincerely appreciate the help.

    Cheers

It was on here. Thread got pretty unpleasant so looks like it was deleted.

Seller stuck it on ebay after his rant

It was on the local SF Bay Craigslist all of one day. Now deleted.

I wish I had copied the text, as seller gave a lot more info than he seemed inclined to do on this site. I can only wonder....

    I guess it's gone...

Apparently sold on ebay - less than 18k?
Bidding had ended on the 8th...

Oh well, time to move on...

There was some kind of speculation on PP that the high bid was
a schill. Thread was in the technical forum.

Try asking him a question you will understand why a car that looks like a great deal isn't. One of those he is doing the world a favor for even listing his car for sale.

If you can get passed his attitude and meet all his requirements maybe there is a deal hidden there somewhere.

He states that he sold to someone out of state but in his auction he would not allow any out of state buyers as he wanted cash only???

    Nice car?

Looked like it could be a good car to me. Derek seems to possess the knowledge where he wouldn't own a piece of crap.

In reading the Ebay Q&A at the bottom of the listing it comes up where there was some CA re-tag issue (?). Prob. why it was 'cheap'. I know guys can get pretty bent out of shape w/ the potential ramifications resulting from this in that state of the Union. We rebels here in FL don't even have a smog test , let alone the Nazi CA DMV to deal with.

All the original "for sale" threads were deleted by the seller "car-reras" but there is still one thread in Marketplace discussions going on about it. He says now "I will be showing it today and this weekend in the $15K/$16.5K range, and can afford to sell it for much less than that."
