    911R Front Fender Flares

I have been looking at all of the 911R photographs that I can find and it seems some cars had front fender flares as well as the rear flares.

    Any opinions?

It appears the white car has front flares while the Blutorange 911R prototype does not, supporting your claim.

    Flared R

Bear in mind that these cars the 4 prototypes and the 20 "production" cars were mainly meant for racing, and therefore were all probably slightly different. One car did even had the wider, and later to come 2.3-2.5 ST rear wheel arches.
Hereby a couple of pictures where you can clearly see that the rear's are flared, and also the front ones seem to be wider than the corresponding 1967 cars.
