    gasoline vapours

    Hi,
recently I have been experiencing gasoline smell in cabin after filling up. This lasts for about the first 10-15 miles after fuel stop. Has anyone had this problem? we spotted some faded stains on the top of the tank (where the fuel level measurement device is inserted) so replaced the rubber seal in it as well as the seal on filler lid. Any thoughts/suggestions anyone for further investigation or fixes? thanks.

Add a second gasket to the fuel cap, or cut a piece of inner tube rubber to size and put it under the existing gasket. That cured my gas odor problem. If it doesn't work you're only out about ten minutes!
