Thumbs up Dana Point 356 Concours

    This from Jeff Trask........

    All,

The Porsche 356 Club is going to be celebrating the Outlaw at this years addition of the Dana Point Concours. Held on July 11th, Porsche's from all over are invited to participate in this biggest gathering of vintage Porsche 356's, 911's and 912's!

As in previous years, not only are Porsche 356's parking on the lawn, but anyone with a Porsche will be allowed to park along side the show cars. $20 gets your Porsche on the lawn and you'll get a Meguiar's goodie bag and special corral parking with your Porsche brothers and sisters. The event is going to be held at Lantern Bay Park, 25111 Park Lantern Rd., Dana Point, CA, 92629.

All display cars should arrive no earlier than 8:00 AM. The 911S Registry, R Gruppe and 912 Registry have already established corrals and they will be allowed on the grass first. There cars will be grouped on the east lawn and let in as a group at 8:15. Be there and be prepared with your $20 bill and be sure to enjoy this great day!

If there are any questions, please call or email Jeff Trask at 949-697-4499 or NO911NV@aol.com
    .

........ More info, parking passes, and meet times to follow..........

    Cheers

As in years past, R Gruppe will meet at the McDonalds on PCH in DP. Literally a 2 minute drive to the park. Arrive at your leisure, have breakfast. Leave at 8:13

I went to Cars and Coffee this morning. There was the NEWEST Ferrari, 458, and the newest Ford concept car from our own Freeman Thomas, the Ford Start...you can see the lines of a vintage Alfa.

However, the topic on everyones mind is next weekend.
    Saturday day:
Porsche will be the marque at Cars and Coffee. Get there EARLY. It will be filled with Porsches.
    Saturday night:
    Lobby bar of the Marriott
    Sunday:
Be on the lawn and park in the corral.

This is another big Porsche weekend.
