They are tough to put in, no question. I have seen a "few" that look really good when done, but it takes patience. I bought a complete finished set that SWBSAM had taken time to finish up, and I thought they looked great.

I have no side by side shots though, and I would need to first find the parts to do that, and I'm not going to be able to do that for a few weeks...sorry.

I do think it's worth the effort though.

    SWB , lenses

Adding to what EL said pertaining to replacing lenses. I've done 2 complete sets for my cars and quite honestly, after the first two lenses it's really not that complicated. The main stumbling block is getting the rubber seated correctly. The old lense tabs can be melted off easily. Putting the new lenses back on and seated correctly is fairly easy. Main thing is to get the correct color on the new lenses, and be patient...good luck !

    swb lenses

I have a few of the cheezy Harbor Freight mini-mini torches. ( size of a pen ) and rechargeable. Use this to soften the tabs to remove and to attach. It's important when re-installing lenses that the rubber is seated correctly.

When re-installing you need to squeeze the housing and the new lenses together while melting the tabs tightly...
