    Value of a 77 2.7 engine?

What is the value of a 77 2.7 long block that supposedly has 90K miles on it and "ran when pulled"? Heard that story before.

Dont forget to look at where the heads and cylinders meet. If it looks like there is an oil leak there then the head studs could be pulling out of the case, one of the major weaknesses of the 2.7. Inserts into the case solved this problem pretty well, look to see if this has been done already, a good sign.

I just paid $1250 for a '76 California "S" complete except for distributor.
7R case, Engine had Time-Serts on head studs and turbo exhaust valve covers.
