If you are looking for a great Porsche to drive every day that is reliable and fun, than this is exactly that car. So often, the 964 Porsches have been beat up and abused that it is harder and harder to find a properly maintained car. The owner of this car is a local SoCal physician who understands pride of ownership.

This owner purchased this Porsche new in 1989 from a local Porsche dealership in Los Angeles. For the first couple of years he had all the maintenance done at the Porsche dealer. When he moved to Orange County in 1991, he began to take the car to Andial for service. Andial has maintained this car for nearly 15 years! Everything and anything mechanical that needed to be done was taken care of…no questions asked and no expense spared. I know that some 964s have a bad reputation for some major mechanical issues. However, after talking with the people at Andial, they said that not all cars were plagued with issues and this car is proof of that. With 143,000 miles, this car has been absolutely wonderful and trouble free. No service was ever over-looked or delayed. The owner used this car to commute back and forth to Moreno Valley, CA. Literally, the majority of the miles are freeway miles. The car has absolutely never been tracked or raced. It has simply been a great driver.

Upon first driving the car, it feels incredibly tight and similar to some low-mileage examples I have driven. Everything appears to work properly; even the air-conditioning still blows cold. As I described, the car has been very well maintained and arguably better than most. The car was always garaged, but still has some minor imperfections. It is still better than most any other car with similar mileage. There is a small bubble in the paint on the body next to the windshield on the driver side. Also, the windshield has a few small chips with a small crack about ¼” in diameter on the passenger side. The crack has been there for sometime with no changes to it. Although the tires have nearly full tread, they are about 5 years old and the rubber is showing some age. There are some small chips on the hood and front bumper from normal road use and not noticeable unless a few inches away. The interior is in great condition. The leather seats have some wear, but no tears. The dash is excellent with no cracks. The headliner is in excellent condition as well with a few small tears at the crease near the door entry.

Recently, the owner had a service done including oil change.

The car comes complete with extra keys, owner’s manuals, car cover and the tool kit.
