Just a nice pic- Future HSCC race car (UK)

    Hi,

I snapped these pictures at work today and thought it would be a good picture to post here. One of the current rebuild cars is a 1969 911 which will be competing in the HSCC race series here in the UK. The body work was done by the owner and they have done a great job.

In blood orange (tangerine) next to a Light Ivory RS, it looked great!

I hope after the completion we see more of this car and it racing.

    Thanks

    Alan

Alan, thanks for posting. That is my favourite configuration for an early 911 rally car. Please post more pics as the project progresses.

    Cheers

    Thanks Nick,

    Here are some more

Finished the headliner, (or what they is of one) today. First some lightweight race backing, and then as we wanted to brighten up the cab area we used a perforated headliner material on top. All tucked in behind the roof inner rails.

    Thanks

A few more for anyone interested:

    Bit more progress.

As the battery boxes were removed, additional brackets had to be fabricated to hold the outer edges of the front bumper.

    Plus:-

Lots of small parts had to be fabricated for this car. Seat frames, oil cooler brackets, battery strap, front towing eye and a neat bracket to replace the ash tray and mount the interior kill switch/fire extinguisher. These have just been anodised black.

and some fitted with the sparse use of carpet.

    Thanks

    Alan

We have just refurb'ed the fuchs, fitted the tires, so the car is back on the ground and bar fitting the engine (which is being rebuilt at the moment) , suspension set up and testing the car is finished.

    Hi,

I have been meaning to update this thread with some fresh pics of the 69 2.0ltr race car. The car was in storage whilst the motor was being built but now back at the workshop progress has been made.

    Engine fitted

    Thanks

    Alan
