    "air-cooled-engines" is really Wayne Krieger, I believe

    And the picture of the engine is of the one in Macroni's car that just got restored by TLG...

    Engine number 630227 should be a 1970 2.2 liter not a 1969 2.0 lliter..

    Shouldn't a 630.... engine number be for a 1970

    last time I checked Porsche used this system for their engine numbering...

    6= 6 cylinder
    3= 911S (2=911E, 1=911T)
    0= 1970


    It also looks like the engine has plastic stacks but it could just be the photo...
