Removing Paint From the Inside of a Ducktail?

Who has knowledge or experience doing this? I would like to remove the paint from a factory ducktail without damaging the fiberglass material. The outside is easy - sand, sand, sand. But what to do about the layers of paint on the inside?

    Scott,

When I first got my used factory tail I took it to a friend and had the whole thing 'walnut blasted'.... seemed to do the trick.

    Hope this helps
