    Grill Badge Origins

A friend gave me the grill badge recently; I would like to know the origin; any history appreciated.

Curious why you just don't ask your friend. Wouldn't he be the best scource of any information about it ? Where did he get it, how did he come by it, how long has he had it.......etc. etc. ?

I did; He came by it in a box of old parts and gave it to me.

Jack Staggs, a well known 356 mechanic/guru, uses the symbol for his shop in San Clemente, CA. I don't know if he created it or if it originated with him or not.

Thanks for that information...As it turns out Staggs worked on the 356 I purchased- I found the work orders/receipts in my file on the car ; the box of parts were from the previous owner of the 356 who sent it along with some parts and trophies the car had won in SoCal.
