    1965 911 Parts Wanted

    Greetings . . . I'm looking for one of the two little brackets that holds on the green-faced clock in a 65-67 911, together with one knurled nut.

    I also need an air cleaner snout (the kind held on by clips, not by wing nuts).

    Threaded studs on the rear of VDO instruments are 4mm-.70 which is the same as those on the top of NKG (and other) spark plugs. The "nuts" taken from spark plugs work just fine to hold your gauges in place.

    McMaster Carr has a nice selection of metric knurled nuts in various materials.

    The Solex snorkel is getting hard to find. You can find some that i think are early Weber that attach by spring latch but they have flanges that stick out lengthwise seaming the halves. The early ones had a flat seam.

    There is a guy in LA who has a weber air cleaner but w/ a solex snout. I will PM you his name and you can try to swing by and get it from him.
