    price check - 16x10.5 3pc fuchs

    checking for a friend who has these for sale , this is what he has advised me ;

    Genuine Fuchs 3 pc wheels, apparently rare as hens teeth. 16" X10.5", made as far as I can glean, for 2.8 RSRs . Rims appear to be dural or similar, not just common old ally.

    who can advise me what they are worth in the current market

    +1 here. I have never heard that Fuchs built any 3-piece wheels back in the day. That would be quite a piece of news. How do you know that they were not fabricated elsewhere? Do they have special markings? All the 3-piece Fuchs I have ever seen were just made up from standard 6 or 7" centers, and still carried the part numbers for those wheels on the backside.

    I don't want to hijack this thread but I also have four 3-piece 10x16 fuchs on a wide body car. They have different offsets to fit the front and rear RSR/930 flares. Harvey is refinishing some 9x15 fuchs (front) and making up some 11x15 fuchs (rear) for my car. The current wheels are 3-piece fuchs centers with BBS inners and outers. They are super light and look great but I've decided to go with 9 & 11X15's. (I'm debating keeping the 16x10's for track events but I also would like to have an idea of what they are worth.

    John,

    Anther option is 15x9 Minilites. I bought a brand new set last year for my 911 ST tarmac rally car. A search for "Samson" will locate the pics.
