    RS 0486 at RM Auctions

    Check this out:
    http://www.rmauctions.com/featurecar...rID=r338&fc=0#

With an umlimited budget a bit strange that the factory could not source the correct outside mirror, didn't do the Fuchs wheels with the proper finish, speaker grill not as original and I doubt it should have the 300 km/hr speedo

Curious to see if it will bring the estimate of $350-550K

    Have fun, Cees

    Rs

I also looked this over. It also struck me as odd that the factory would not add another oil cooler....

    Correct Fuchs RS finish

Outer lip and petals gloss anodized, inner ring mat anodized.

    Cees,

Why would you regard 'petals gloss anodized' is the appropriate wheel finish for this RS?

If the car was delivered in Grand-Prix-White with Kelly-Green Decals, also Kelly-Green wheel centers together with mat anodized inner rings and gloss anodized outer lips would be an original appearance.

The wheel finish you have described would be appropriate and original for each other colour rather than Grand-Prix-White with Green/ Blue/ Red Decals and wheels.

    Best,
    Christian

    RS wheel finish

You are correct Christian, but clearly this RS has not the inner ring mat anodized, that is what I should have written

    Best, Cees
