    Steven,

I checked out the roster and it seemed like mostly late cars... mostly B'mers

Signed up for Concorso a couple of days ago...

Coming up on Weds. so will probably sign up for the Chateau dinner as well...

    Cheers

I've entered my '67 rally build. May be the only early Porsche there for all I know. But I'm going to have the car down there for the "Limited Edition" Carmel Concours anyway and I was looking for something to do on Friday (did Pelican's wine run last year which has been canceled this year). I haven't seen much publicity on the event so I don't know if it's gaining any traction.

I'm trying to do as many events as possible before they all get canceled due to the Depression.

I signed up for BOTH Concorso + Legends. Also registered at Bonhams. I'll probably pop into all three and also try to make Baja Cantina for lunch. Total ADD.

not sure. Maybe the Aga Blue 67S or the 73 Black 2.9. Depends on the weather. The tires on the Tangerine 3.6 are terrifying in rain.

I'll be there as well. Be sure to stop and introduce yourselves. Always great to meet other S Board folks. Look for a sand beige 67S. That's me!

I attended this event today (entered my '67 in the Concours) and was pleasantly surprised to see how well received it was. There were probably 150+ cars in the concours and maybe half that many in the corral. The event was originally started by BMW and they were the most heavily represented, but there were a lot of interesting Mercedes and Porsches as well.

The Porsche judging teams appeared to be experienced and knowledgeable (Prescott Kelly was the head judge of the team that looked my car over - can't get much more experienced and knowledgeable than that!).

Well run. Box lunches were amazing. And the venue on the Rancho Canada Golf Course was very nice.

Their goal is to create an event that rivals the Concorso Italiano over time and they're off to a good start.

    Cheers,
    John Audette

P.S. And by the way.... SactoS said in an earlier message to be on the lookout for a Sand Beige '67 S. It was hard to miss - really stunning. It won First in Class, Best Porsche and Best in Show.
