WTB: tan trim piece for radio

Does anyone have a piece of tan trim big enough to cover a radio panel?

    Ryan:

Which style vinyl...SWB, 69-71, or 72/73? I think I have some tan vinyl, but not sure pattern. Can you post a pic of what you need?

    Hi Gib,

The vinyl is needed to correct the dash of a 73T when I remove the 80's tape deck and go back to a period radio. The attached pics are the only one I have at present. Thanks for looking.

    depends when you need it

I am redoing my interior later in the year. Have original tan vinyl that i am thinking of replacing with tan leather to match soon to be newly recovered seats (no matching 1973 tan vinyl available to do them)

I would be happy to give you a piece from my dash when i do it if you cant get some first

    regards

I have exactly the same tan material on my dash, and would like a piece to do a radio delete, no rush.

    thanks

Sorry, but I don't have any of that kind of vinyl....thought I did, but I must have given it away earlier. Sounds like Hugh's offer is pretty tempting. I have lots of black 69-71 vinyl though.

Thanks guys - it turns out that the interior is probably cinnamon not tan.

However, the gent doing a few little jobs on the car before it is shipped down to me just emailled me to say he found the radio trim piece in the glove box. Cross your fingers its the correct bit and the previous owner did the right thing.

UPDATE - Car arrived and the radio block off plate was in the glove box.

However, I have a Blaupunkt I would like to fit (since the car has an aerial) so I still need a bit of trim for the radio mounting plate.

    Anyone have any for sale?
