    FS: Original 917 seat shells

I picked these up a LONG time ago, figured they would be cool to own, but, I really have no use for them.

The one seat is marked "61/97" with some initials, similar to what we see a lot of other factory fiberglass parts markings.

They are not in the best of shape, nice size crack and some repairs:

Asking $500/pair+shipping, but open to offers or suggestions of value

Even worse they have been sitting on a shelf in my garage, they were safe out there since the fiberglass won't rust in this ridiculously humid weather!!

Do the #'s on them actually mean anything to anyone, or anyone recognize the #'s?

Peter - Sorry cant help you with the #'s, however I have collected a few images over the last few years that may be of interest...(don't recall where they came from , but all (C) rights to the owners)

Note I took at the time indicated the the "Si" engraving near left shoulder was for Siffert...

Red covering of the second seat may be of interest, purported to have come from 917-013
