Anyone have the 411 on this 911T for sale in PA?

Now that my 993 is gone, I'm on the hunt for a 911T and saw this car for sale on Ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I plan on calling the seller and hope to check it out, but wanted to see if any fellow board members know anything about the car.

Overall, it looks nice and although my first choice is a CIS-T in Light Ivory, you never know.

    Thanks in advance, Jason

That car was on ebay before and the seller had a BIN price around $69k. I assume he is probably still looking for a price in the 60s. If you look at it how about reporting back to this board your impression of the car. The paint certainly looks outstanding. I think the car at $69, if that what he still wants IMO is 5-10k too high. I personally don't care for the tan interior.

Car looks beautiful, but not one photo of the engine compartment. That sets off bells for me.

Wow, $69k is very strong money, although the car does look very original and in good shape.

Even at $60k, you're knocking on the door of a very decent "S" and although I'm in the market, I would have a tough time justifying $60k for a 911T. Then again, I'm looking for a nice driver, not a perfect original.

If I check it out, I'll be sure to report back.

What's the "G64" option group on the window sticker? I take it that it's some Porsche/Audi thing for the US market, and that it's a package of extras. Does it include Fuchs and sport seats?

This car is listed on the PCA website for $55K OBO.

I've watched this car sell twice in the past year - first in the mid twenties and then in the high thirties, I believe. A lot of work has gone in to it since then.

Contact Rennman (Porsport.com) as he has several T's for sale including two very nice Lite Ivory ones on his website.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Obviously the seller is monitoring this thread. That photo was not their yesterday when I made the comment.
