What is the actual color used on the R

As title states, anyone know what the actual color is that was used on the 911R (#15 I think)?
    Thanks..
    Mark..
p.s. anyone have any photos of said car?

Is that the Reventlow car? It was Scarab Blue- not a Porsche color. "Speedo" did a 911R replica in Cobalt Blue, very close. It is hard to do, impossible to patch. Black base, blue metallic, clear coat.

The ex-Reventlow car was #20 - currently owned by Raj.

#15 was the gold car (don't know the exact colour - I think it might have been a Cadillac colour):

I have heard it was a Cadaillac metallic gold - matched the wife's car! The McCaw car restored by Canepa turns out to be a greenish yellow used on Mack trucks.

    Yes.........

BTW- The GM/Cad 'Firemist' metallic colors of the '60's were some of the favorites of the Hot Rodders in the day. Contemporary drag racer Larry Dixon's father, Larry Dixson Sr., built and drove arguably the 'bitchenest' '55 Chevy in SoCal in the '60's... painted Cad Firemist Green......

    ... and so it goes

    Thumbs up Oh my

Raj, I think I first laid eyes (and hands) on it at the 50/50 Porsche celebration at Watkins Glen some years ago. Glorious color.
