    SWB headrest

i have an original, reupholstered SWB 356/911/912 hoop-arm style headrest for sale. it's an original piece that i purchased at Easy many years ago. i purchased and installed a black vinyl headrest cover from Auto's, and never installed it in my car. it's been carefully stored ever since. Looks brand new except for slight pitting on the chrome arms. there is a tiny bit of rust-like pitting around the screw fastener area where it connects to the seat back. Sorry, i dont have the seat-back fasteners.

$85.00 with shipping to US destination

    trivia q.

Gary do you recall whether the chrome bars were connected or are separate bars? Can you move the from each other? It's one of those details I try to learn.

BTW did it already have a zipper when you got it from Jim or is that what AI added (for you)?

The chrome is a one piece bar. Factory did not use zipppers. It was threaded in an 'X' pattern. AI does do the correct stitching now(I do not know about years before).

I have the original/correct bases and thumbscrews with some nice patina F/S.
