    FS : Electrical panel cover

    For 1969 - 1973 911 , engine compartiment electrical panel cover.
    in excellent condition, no scratched or blemish.
    Asking US $ 30 plus shipping . Its similiar to the picture below.

    These didn't start coming on 911s until 1971.

    1970 and earlier cars have no provision for this panel.

    Also, the 1973 panel is shorter and does not have the cutout for the harness behind the bump ... I think.

    Fuse board covers in MY1970

    But .. there's always exceptions when it comes to the early cars.
    A significant number of MY1970 911s, built after Sept 1969, were fitted with the cover and had the upper mounting bracket attached. I recall that there is a thread on this topic in the Tech section.

    The 1971 (one year only) engine electrical cover is shorter and has no cut-out behind the bump:

    My COA 7/10/70 70MY has no provision for one. That is near the end of the 70MY production. Be interesting to know the mfg. date of the 70MY's that got the top fender attached mounting tab.
