My Road Trip Photo Exhibit and Film

    Hi All,

I am pleased to announce that I have a 40 photographic print exhibit and 20 minute documentary film showing at the National Steinbeck Center. These images and words follow my 12 year, 150,000 mile road trip across America (all of it driven in either a Porsche 911 or VW Eurovan). My route closely followed that of John Steinbeck's in his 1962 travelogue Travels with Charley. These images are part of my soon to be published book project titled Stenbeck's America, which celebrates the famous authors's publication 50 years later.

If you are on your way to or from the Monterey Historics/Reunion this week and have a chance, please stop by the National Steinbeck Center at One Main Street in nearby Salinas, CA. If you stay straight on Hwy 68 heading east to 101 from Monterey/Laguna Seca you will end up there (or just follow the signs for the National Steinbeck Center off Hwy 101).

The non-profit Center is open from 10AM to 5PM every day and the admission for adults is $11. There is a large permanent Steinbeck exhibition hall there, as well as a bookstore. Thanks to everyone for your support of my project!

    Very Cool.

    Randy,
This is good stuff - I will try to take this in...I'm a bit of a Steinbeck man myself.

I'm going to assume you're in the Monterey Area this week - what's your availability for a brief chat/interview? I smell an upcoming feature for the PML.

Let me know if you're interested.

    Cheers
