WTB - basketweave for 67S dash

    Anybody know of a source?

I have a radio plate area that was butchered up and a bit of melted basketweave above the ashtray.

Full pieces or just the vinyl would be fine.

    Thanks in advance.

unless it's priced likegold, I'm looking for enough to do the lower dash completely in OEM.

Next option - OEM to repair the areas I need to.

Lastly, aftermarket across the whole thing.

Thanks Stefan. My camera was "borrowed" by my kid but the 67 seats I have an entirely different square basketweave pattern, unlike anything you posted. They're supposed to be original from a 912 but not sure now...unless 912s had a different seat basketweave than 67s'.

    PM again.

This is what I found locally it was dead on for my 67 dash with exception of backing which can't see when installed. German made and was aprox $15 sq. yard. Pic show's old next to new.
Jim, I just found an EXCELLENT piece of factory original 21"s long it's yours gratis if you want it. Just PM me.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.

    basketweave

Here are pictures of the PP product on the right and original BW on some dash facia to the left. The camera isn't doing a good job (perhaps the photographer). Mostly what I see is that the OEM is a bit pulled and stretched which distorts the length and squareness of the blocks. Also the 40 year old BW has a shiny patina at this point.

    Best,

    Alex
