    1969 911 S aluminum deck lid

    Very good original condition.Has all the scripts included. Has one minor split along the edge near where the grill is located.It is the outer skin that is bent around the frame @ 180 degrees;not a critical location {7cm long}. This would be an easy fix for the Aluminum Artist out there.I also have an original three strap grill in nice condition to include in this sale...$4700.00 Will work with the buyer on shipping and charges. Could possibly deliver on the West coast TBD... Shipping is additional to the $4700.00,,,,,,,,,,,,,,see post #3 for shipping update 08/10/10....08/29/10 { NEW SELLING PRICE>>>4.2 lb.@$904.76 per lb.= $3799.99 USD.......702.335.6741}

    s aluminum deck lid

    WOW!!!!My fotography sure makes that split look gruesome,believe me it not at all bad in the `aluminum`..Could include shipping in the 48 contiguous states, up to about $300.00 usa $`s, packaged in a mirror box or similar. Note the satin color scripts, unique
    , maybe for a King or someone!!! Sensational opportunity....

    The "satin" script is likely just faded black anodized script from 72/73. Pretty common occurance. I've got a set just like it stashed away.

    I don't know that I've ever seen a 69 aluminum lid that was made for the three bar grill. The steel 69 three bar lid doesn't have the additional grill supports that your lid has. Yours is probably a later lid that someone placed on a 69S.

    Nice looking shape though.

    Aluminum deck lid

    Thanks for the observations. I was going by the six holes for mounting a three strap, there are none bored for the five strap. Must be a 70/71 edition. I might have to pull a script to find out on the black anodize,maybe! Cliff

    Satin script

    The script looks pretty much like the one that came with my car. Do you have close ups without blitz to compare???

    non blitz

    Here are a couple of shots. They might very well be faded black scripts;they do seem darker purple on the edges,not black though! Could be a replacement deck & this one has not seen the light of day since 1992..Over all , real good shape ,not tweaked or fatigued & complete with grill, and scripts, minus hinges and license lites and harness.

    aluminum deck lid

    This deck lid is no longer being offered for sale...Thanks,Cliff..........It seems to me that there are enough pictures,and descriptions of this lid for anyone interested in buying it to make a decision one way or another...it`s a good solid lid,obviously. Now,price,shipping ,payment are another subject. Thanks,Cliff
