Ordered Glasurit paint before it goes water based

Just thought I'd share with you who don't know yet but shops on the west coast will only be able to spray water based paints next year at some point. It's supposed to happen the first of the year but it's looking like it might get pushed back. I just ordered my Glasurit 8080 Silver metallic paint just in case time runs out. I'm sure you'll still be able to get it in other states but manufactures are going to have to start making the paints water based!

I may be wrong here but I believe water-based is the rule in California and has been for some time. My last touchup had to be done with water base.

Porsche sprays with water-borne but the clear that is shot after the base coat has dried is not.

You could always "wrap" the car and have a new paint job every year or so.
