    Wacky passenger side mirror question

Remembering that this is a right-hand-drive car, has anyone ever seen a passenger side mirror like this?

Or even a mirror mounted adjacent the 1/4 window?

I think its pretty safe to assume its aftermarket.

    Wacky.

Difficult to see from your photos Ryan but is it something similar to this ?:

If so, these were a popular (aftermarket) addition to many British cars (especially Minis & the like) in the '60's & '70's - enabled owners to add a mirror without having to drill any holes in the bodywork.

    Thanks Andy,

I hope it is something like that and thus easily removable. At least the PO didn't drill a bunch of holes in the door.

At worst, I'll only have to replace one part of the window frame.
