I need to finish a project:

1.) A gold slanted '911' emblem for the rear engine lid.

2.) Also would like a set of four 4.5x15 steel wheels with excellent/new chrome (not happy with the chrome on the current set I have and can offer them as 'cores').

Please email what you have to: jpnorthwood@aol.com

    Thanks,

    John

John, don't know if you saw this but it appears that the emblem is available again, I can't vouch for the quality as I have never bought one.

Thank you! I called and left a message. We'll see what the quality is like and I'll report back.

You can get refurbished chrome 4.5s from Brad Ripley at NLA. He would need yours for cores.

I like that even better. Would Paypal be OK, and if so, please let me know the account name.

    Thanks,
    John

PS, I'll check on the wheels too. Great to be able to have such knowledgeable folks willing to help out

Watch out on the re-furb chromies from NLA(they do not have any now and the chromer they used were very bad -returned all 5 wheels) and any other shop doing the core depot thing. I have just bought (8) 4.5X15 chromes from Sierra Madre(they may still have a few) but 4 were not true and very off. He gets the chrome right but can't get matched sets or dates. He is very expensive too(@ $495. a wheel w/o core-$100). I have 2 356's getting done and a '65 912 that still needs the wheels.

These wheels have to be cut in two, then chromed then re welded. I am still looking for the guy/shop that can do it right and not be way overpriced.

If it matters John,... there is two different pin spacings on these, one is like 47mm spacing, and I'm sorry but I can't recall the other. I had both types at one time, but only have the 47mm right now (sorry NFS).
