    1973 911T Targa Hot Rod

My wife said I don’t have to be monogamous but I can’t be polygamous, I’ve found another Porsche car that really interests me so I’m gauging interest in my early hot rod. Motivation comes from a professionally installed 3.2 motor complete with EFI and motronic computer control mated to a 915 from a SC. The concept when it was built-up was to create a fast road car, this car is comfortable on the road and a blast to drive.

The car was corner balanced, received turbo tie rods, new bushings and a rear sway bar during the refurb. The alternator was just rebuilt and the battery is new. The R132 A/C system was recharged last year as well as adding Swepco transmission fluid, new brake lines and fluid. New tires in 2008, the front calipers were reconditioned in 2007.

This is a virtually rust-free California car that has been well maintained and garage stored for most of it's life. The car received a color change from black to silver in the 1988 and the quality of this work is evident in the condition of the paint after 20 years. The car has a small bubble at the bottom of the Targa bar on each side, some stone chips, a handful of little dings and a small crease where a truck bumped the hood in 1988. The pan on this car is absolutely amazing.

The interior is in very good condition. The dash is very nice with one small crack from the speaker to the air vent, map pockets are good. The carpet and rear seats are original and in good condition. There’s a newer stereo and speakers that have been installed. The targa top functions well and doesn't leak but needs a new skin.

I have tons of pictures and love to talk about the car so just drop me a line markb@robertconstruction.ca.

    Asking $19,500USD

    Hi all

A little more information and answers some reoccuring questions:

The suspension and brakes (M calipers) are basically stock with the exception of the turbo tie rods and rear bar.
The car has S trim including wheel arch trim, the 73 only rubber bumperettes are included, I just took them off since I liked the look when I did the black stripes
The seats included are new low-back sport buckets, I have new black/red coco mats that are also included
The 3.2 is completely stock from the air box to the exhaust, including the cat
The car has a later oil cooler with factory hard piping
Falken 195-60R15 fronts and 205 -60 rears on reproduction polished rims, decent but with a couple scratches
Rear weltmeister sway bar with brand-new weltmeister mounts

    Thanks for the interest
