Thread: My 70T in enGulf'd for the Fall

My 70T in enGulf'd for the Fall

Bought a 70T coupe earlier this year as a project. Original color is conda green but a PO did a repaint in light blue metallic (not quite gemini Blue).
Since then I have switched out the motor for my 2.4S+ motor, and a few weeks ago decided to have fun doing a gulf color motif before the car gets stripped and repainted back to its original color this winter. Well, I had a glass front S bumper and a set of Cibies sitting in my storage for almost two years unused, so I came up with an idea.
Any thoughts or opinions? Too far, not far enough....?

That is certainly attractive. Well done.

Love the color scheme, if the car were origionaly silver or blue the orange accents would be great----but if you are going to spend the money on a bare metal paint, the only way to go is prigional color. (but you knew that)

I love it! This is definitely classy and tasteful. some people over do it. this is just enough.

Do you have any orange pieces or accents on the back half of the car, so to carry the theme through out? i think if you had the rear bumper to match that would be perfect. if not the rear bumper, at least something to continue it through out the end would be best. otherwise it would look like an incomplete idea, (or to the layman like you put on a bumper from another car).

I would keep it minimal and tasteful, like you did in the front, but i would keep it continued/consistant through out and complete the thought. it will also give the design balance..

Harry, you can admit that you get all hot-and-bothered seeing those hood mounted lights.

Sensational !! Tasteful, elegant, beautiful, well-executed....and, courageous!

Delightful to see that finally someone had the stones to avoid the tiresome & endlessly repeated path of slavishly copying a small number of "standard models" and presenting something original and very attractive.

    Well done, Congratulations.
