    Cafe Desmo: 8/20-8/22

I know this isn't "car" related but a lot of folks here have motorcycles, too, so I figured I'd post it anyway.

Every year Pro Italia in Glendale holds their Cafe Desmo event. It's an all-Italian motorcycle event, and in years past it's been a cook-out and bike show with a great cross section of vintage and modern Italian hardware.

This year, however, Pro Italia has chosen to expand their event and instead of being just a Sunday bike show it's become a weekend fiesta.

Starting tonight at around 6pm Pro Italia will host a FREE cocktail party in their showroom. There will be bikes on display (duh), free drinks and hoursdoeverseredfss <-- food.

Tomorrow evening Pro Italia will be sponsoring a concert in Pasadena (not sure how this relates to motorcycles but, hey, it is what it is).

And the bike show is on Sunday. After the show there will be a ride up Angeles Crest Highway to Newcomb's Ranch - complete with Police escort - for another concert, lunch, chatter, etc.

    Here's a link if you're interested: http://www.proitalia.com/cafedesmo2010/

I live next door to Pro Italia so I'll be at the cocktail party tonight and the bike show on Sunday. Drop me a PM if you're going to be there.

Now, I know this creates a slight conflict with the Cars and Coffee event on Sunday in La Canada ... but there's no reason a motivated person can't do both.

    See you there!

When Marco say's he lives next door, he means right next door. I'm sure he's probably moonlighting as a Duc mechanic after hours, has the secret password/code to the shop; and is contemplating an Italian motorcycle tat on his left shoulder next to the P-car tat on his right. Hmmmmm, how will Cain look gazing over that shoulder in a glamour shot???

See Marco, this is actually car related
