    Anyone have any experience with the Chico Concours d'Elegance?

    I will be heading up to Chico, CA on Sept. 12th and was wondering if any of you folks have had any experience with this event. Things not to miss and so on? Would appreciate any information.

    Chico is in North Central CA.... about 2 hours North of Sacramento.
    The place I go every Thanksgiving.....

    Have never made the local concours...

    However....

    Members Harvey Weidman, Ed Barnett, and Paul Abbott all live in the general area...... maybe they can chime in

    Kind of an eclectic bunch.. I saw a unrstored Tucker that the guy drove there. Also some one off Italian stuff. English cars are in good numbers. The Porsche contigent is usually well represented by some great 356s (I think the show winner in the past) and a sprinkling of other water cooled. A few 911's but can't recall an outstanding one though. Great venue and people. The judges may look country but they aren't stupid...
