1973 911S Targa Black RS Spec. Motor

    I am selling my 1973 911S Targa..Yeah, it's a Targa. VIN# 9113310442, Engine # 6331065. I purchased this car Sept. 2002 with 127,505 miles.
The mileage today is 127,934. The car was stripped to the metal and painted black. Color Works in Los Lunas NM did the work. Chuck Rumschlag/Proprietor. 505-865-6863.

The engine was removed and sent to Carl Young (dec.) at Carl's Place in Las Vegas, Nev. ( previously: PORSCHAUS ). The engine was completely gone through and rebuilt as a 2.7 RS Spec. motor. MFI, Carrera chain tensioners, etc..Complete drive line including clutch, TO bearing, etc..The transmission was rebuilt to short gear ratios...the gears are evenly spaced. The body is Concours as well as the interior, replacing everything that showed and wear. Door panels, pockets ( damn expensive ).

Targa Top done by Dave Brown...303-499-0110.

The car was originally from California. Now in New Mexico. No known rust on/in the car. NO BONDO either..

I have all receipts for parts, labor etc....

Jim DeBlois 505-797- 3114. PCA Member since 1981. This is my 6th and final early 911 (long nose) resto..

    OOPS! the price is: $55,000

I think Russo Steele is selling this Targa at their Monterey auction next month, but they have the description for an RS they had in last years auction. Oops.
