I've got a bumper from a '66 in my garage. Let me know if you need photos. Or if you'd like to buy it-- I have no use for it and would love to free up the space!

Hi Richard, I'm in England, I've heard from a few wreckers over here that they've had bumpers that have been trashed, and they have thrown them out unfortunately, I just need the 2 lower spotlight mounts that are welded on.Originally Posted by 304678

I would guess that you are right about the shipping.
Surely the brackets would not be hard to fabricate? If you have the spotlight covers, then really you just need some sheet or angle stock and the welder of your choice. Looks don't count for hidden bits, right?
Apologies if I am missing something in your query. But if you hadn't considered reproducing the parts from scratch, I'd suggest that it might be easier than you would think. Beats having the whole project held up until you find that elusive smashed-but-not-quite-destroyed bumper assembly.
In fact, I might be talking myself into reproducing these. Because I don't already have a garage full of projects....!
