Thread: '69-'73 Replacement Dash @ Lakewell

Sounds like 911hunt thinks they are all he needs. Sorry if I am misinterpreting his request but could be pretty expensive mistake.
The early dashes can be "rebuilt" and upholstered. Which is what Lakewell does with 65-67 dashes which are one piece. The 68 dashes are a one year dash that is kind of a hybrid of the later dashes and the early dashes. The dashes that Lakewell produces are made using molds and all are two piece. I may end up just using a 65-67 dash and upholstering it.

Anyone have any info on these dashes that just popped up on eBay coming out of Turkey?

Vinyl grain is off, and they mention polyurethane so they may be molded and not vinyl covered, but the price is certainly right. I may order one just to see it.

Approximately never. The original dashes pre-date the Porsche Classic stuff.

The NOS dash I have in factory packaging has a sticker dated sometime in the 1980's, I believe. I can check later today.

Who knows when they were produced but someone once told me they bought one of the last originals from their dealer in the 1990's.
