anyone have Cellete fixtures etc for 356 and early 911 ?

    Hi

I just bought a bare Cellete bench , just the bench on wheels with no fixtures ,

does anyone have drawings of the fixtures to mount a 356 or an early 911 ?
or a set of them for sale ?

and the Cellete 356 and early 911 Blueprint that shows measuring dimensions for a 356 ?

If you have them can you post a picture so I know what I will be getting into if I have to get some made ,

I guess I could also use NON-Porsche Fixtures if you have any and modify them some.....
so whatever Cellete stuff you have hanging around would help

    thank you for your help

    Dave

If you only have the bare celette bench, you would need a lot more than just the fixtures. (Towers and Plates with bolts)

In Europe there is a rental service for these fixtures. It somethimes takes a while before you can actually get them if multiple projects are overrunning.

You can also buy the fixtures new at Celette dealers over here. (not cheap though)

Attaches 2 pics of the 911 fixture setup and pictures of my bench.
Bought it for the restauration of my 1973 911S Targa.

If you need a source to buy the fixtures in europe, drop me a line.

I bought whole set (towers, fixtures etc) for my bench last year (used MZ towers but new fixtures), for both SWB and LWB. Celette didn't have them in stock so they were made after my order, it was something like 6-8 weeks waiting time.
Finding used fixture set for 911 is very difficult!
(also there are fair bit of price difference between countries in Europe (i.e. re-sellers margin), so its worth comparing and asking offers)

If you have the bench all you need is the mounting dimensions and build your own as you has said. If this is going to be dedicated 911 bench you are set. The whole reason they are removable is obviously to work on other cars.

I build Street Rods and my fixture is old unknown name bench where I simply weld mtg points to set ride height and so on.

They do rent them but in the end if for one car you are better off having one dedicated bench so it is set with no chance of moving anything.

    Good luck!

There are quite a few guys with the benches now. Perhaps you guys should set up a network to help each other. I think a search on Pelican & 914World for Celette would find most of them.

    Dave,

I take it that Spanasi in the UK had no leads on some fixtures.

If you dont have the MZ Towers, this link is the cheapest set up i have seen in the last few years,

    He may split the set.
