Hi Don, which horn works -- the 290 or the 345? Thanks.

the 290 one works. there's a thread here somewhere on restoring these things but I can't seem to find it right now. the 345 doesn't short between the contacts, just does nothing. D.

OK. I admit it................ I haven't got a freakin' clue what these things are worth. can't find any kind of sales history. open to fair offers.

    re horns

    FWIW,
same horns used in the 356.
    rebuilt go for $425.
i suspect non working cores are worth less than $100.
    maybe alot less?

Non working 6-volt cores fetch quite good money. After all, it's the grill and original badging that's worth the money, not the sound that comes out of them. 12-volt I have no clue.
