Thread: My weekend Fuchs experiment

    My weekend Fuchs experiment

I had on old NASTY set of 15X7 and 15X6 wheels in storage for years and decided to see if I could turn them into anything other than Coke cans. I've always liked the frosted look, so I went out and bought about 10 cans of any silver color I could find.

Finally decided Flat Nickel as my color of choice, along with satin black.

These wheels were soda blasted prior to my clueless transformation.

More photos here, along with photos of paint used. Took about 6 hours and cost about 50 bucks. These are beater/driver quality only... but it was a fun project. Who know how long they will hold up, probably not long!http://s167.photobucket.com/albums/u137/WM711/

    Bill...they look super.
Don't be so quick to sell your job short.
I'd be really happy if mine turned out nearly as well (if I did them).
