    SWB rubber fender washer dimensions

What are the dimensions of the rectangular rubber washers that go underneath the rectangular plates under the fender screws on an SWB?

I recall that they are 3/4" wide but was wondering if someone could confirm.

    Thanks!

    Rubber fender washer

The metal plate is 18.5 x 25.5 mm (Approximately 3/4" x 1 "), The rubber was that size or a little larger - or appeared to be a little larger after it was squeezed in place for years.....

Bob, that is an enormous help. I need to fabricate some rubber washers to go under the re-plated steel washers and install them with the Kamax screws BEFORE the final schutz of the trunk. Naturally I am 100 miles from my parts when the time comes to order these things. Thanks!

Can you post a pic of these rubber square washers? My 68 did not have rubber under the clips. It did have round fiber washers under the bolt heads that I think were red in color. I am sure my fenders were never off the car. We're the 66's different? Thanks

I'll try to snap a pic for you. The Stoddard kit has round fiber washers.

My '68 also has the round fiber washers. I don't think the square ones lasted all the way through the SWB model production run. My '67S had them, but not the '68.
