    Need a 84MM JE piston for a 2.4 liter

Broke a piston in my 2.4 E. remaining P's & C's are like new. Before buying 6 new pistons I want to try to find one replacement.

The pistion is a JE 84mm with 83M stamped inside. It has a CR of 9.5 / 1. I bought a set of 6 P's & C's about 10 years ago. JE no longer makes them so I am hoping someone has one from old stock or possible a good used one.

    Many Thanks,

    Chris

Talk to Henry at Supertec. He'll walk down to JE and have them make you a set. Seriously.

Or I can sell you my unused 85mm JEs. Mine were done using the above method and were completely custom made.

It's a grand and month having JE custom make a set. Smallest batch is 4. Might as well do 6 at that point. Kind of blows the Porsche budget.
