    reference numbers/plating

The cylinders say MAHLE E on one side and on the other they have 85ZN2A!+W1. The cylinder are also numbered 1 to 6

The tops of the pistons have 86.65 stamped in the tops (very small). The piston tops also have a capital E stamped into them with some very tiny numbers stamped next to or around the E. The tops also have a more prominent number or two stamped in to them. I can try to shoot pictures if you like.

I have been asked if these were plated for cosmetics so to clarify....These were sent to US Chrome in Wisconsin to have the bores re-Nikasil plated and refinished. The pistons and the outsides of the cylinders are cleaned but have their natural finish.

    another reference number

I found another number. Underneath the dome of the pistons there is: 84P84 and then W2 under that code. Also there is another marking near those but I can't see it very well with the wrist pin blocking my view. Hope this is helpful.
