    Race meatball placement help.

What do you guys think would look better on the hood? Offset/angled meatball or straight/center meatball. The meatball circles are white with black numbers

    I'm leaning towards the offset/angled.

Chad, you need to go bigger. I went with the biggest meatballs I could get and they still don't look right. See attached.

I hear ya. Yours does not look bad. I went 18" circles (same as on the door). I think with only 2 digit numbers 18" looks pretty good. If I went bigger with my 2 digit numbers it might look funny.
    Thanks,
    Chad

Based on the hood for reference those are probably close to 20"~ 22" circles.
    Thanks,

Gettin' better. . . . I can't remember, I think they were 18. I need bigger for sure. Also we race clockwise so if somebody is looking at your car from the front you want the numbers angled toward the viewer, not away.

The 1970 Acropolis Rally car. . . just about perfect size if you ask me.

Here are some quicky photoshop ideas...

Personally, I like the number facing outward and toward the nose. I miss seeing all the CP Porsches at the VARA races. Seems all my Datsun buddies have taken over. It will be fun to see your wide body car on the track.

WOW! thanks for the Photoshop. All of our tracks go clockwise, so my number would have to rotate the other way.

Thanks for doing that, it's much easier to picture.
    Thanks,

if you are looking for opinions, I like it lower (more forward on the hood) and on the angle as in that last image. My 2 cents.
