    1969 Targa seals - two options?

    Hi, I am putting my 69E back together and need to renew these seals.

    There seem to be a change in the seals summer 1969, anyone happen to know the difference and around what chassi numbers that would occur?

    If your looking for the front seal the only one that fits is the one carsincnj.com
    sells. The factory one is to thick to work properly on our older cars.

    I think the lateral seals, those in contact with the door windows, got a metal insert in the late 60s. By the way, they are more expensive...I just bought 2 last week.
    Any expert could confirm ??

    Yes, the old seal has the metal inserts, I suppose I need the "pre juli '69 seal" then. PAP has them for approx $280, any issues with those?
