Interesting post. The car has a 250kph speedo, German front license plate (H at the end indicates historic vehicle in Germany), Italian front turn signal lenses, seller's location in Texas, and a sale price quoted in GB Pounds.
If you are selling the car in pounds, you might want to change your username to Sloan Ranger... :-)

Funny ... COL'd on that one (chuckled out loud

I think Long Ranger is just highlighting examples for sale, and is not personally straddling several countries in an attempt to sell this particular S.

    You Guys play rough!

Not my car ---- just politely tossing out some ads for stuff on offer. Thought our Cars For Sale section was getting a little quiet, lately.

I was thinking that, after the Gooding Auction results at Monterey (http://www.goodingco.com/all_auction...ebble_beach_10 --- remember lot#129?), we'd see more stuff showing up here.

Sorry Loan Ranger, I thought that you were the seller. I try not to rough up the sellers here as it has happened to me as well. I was more trying to make fun of the mish mash of things going on with the post, rather than bash the car. The truth is that my favorite cars are the 70-71 2.2S cars. Thanks for posting....
