    How much does an complete 2.2 or 2.4 MFI engine weigh?

    Does anyone know the aprox weight for a complete (less muffler) 2.2/2.4 MFI engine?

    From memory, ready to install (but without oil), somewhere around 400 lbs.

    I believe Andy is correct: 380-400 lbs.

    According to the '69 - '71 spec book the MFI motor without oil is approx 182 kg = 400 lbs.
