Wow a 2006 priced car..........
86 Sport Purpose Carrera "O4"
No pix of the underside and a New England car...
$12 seems like a deal, but if it's a rust bucket, it is still overpriced - even with the sport seats. PPI should be mandatory.

Quite a bargain.

It appears a bargain, but even our CA cars can have rust issues, especially Targas that aren't protected from the weather. The interior shot shows a lot of surface rust on the driver's seat mount. Makes you wonder what's on the other side of the carpet.

Saw that too, which is one of the reasons I mentioned rust. In addition, having lived in Cali for a few years back in the 90's, I had the chance to discover the fallacy in believing that ALL Cali cars are rust free. Before I became a Porschephile, I drove from SF to Santa Cruz in order to look at an early 70's Bronco. While looking at the Bronco I noticed that the owner also had a 61/62 356 Cab in his garage. He told me that he had just had it completely restored in the past 3 years. When I checked it out, I noticed that rust was already starting to form on the chrome as well as the underside and fender edges. I mentioned that to him and he told me that the salt air from the Cali coastline is a killer for old cars. Never forgot that. Th only cars that are truly 99.9% rust free are one owner AZ cars.
Sold. That car did not last long - a whopping 18 hours. Hope it is not rusty....

I get the skepticism, but if you were selling your own '72 S Targa, where would you price it? I am not saying this is was a screaming deal, but even if it has some rust you still get to drive an early S around for a while at a pretty good price before you have to spend $$$$$ on it.
Early S Reg #1809
From my observations the car was a 911T, not a 911S. Did I miss something along the way?I get the skepticism, but if you were selling your own '72 S Targa, where would you price it? It looks like it may have been a good deal to me.
