    24mm S-Calipers - Follow Along

    Hi Gang,

I thought this group might like to follow this project we're doing for one of David Loop's customers (Bay Area - David Loop European). It's either a great way to yank 8lbs of unsprung weight off your late model Carrera -or- a great way to add almost 10lbs. of unsprung weight to your early 911 LOL

S-Calipers over A-Calipers will save 8lbs... however, 24mm rotors vs. 20mm rotors will add 10lbs.

Not sure where we're going with this but, I think this is a great way to yank 8lbs off the front of a late model Carrera. Same pads, Same piston size... much cooler caliper in my book.

Bottom line: S-Caliper cut for a 24mm rotor gap and a standard A-Caliper pad width. Jeff (aka machinest extrordinaire) did a fantastic job bringing these to this stage. Now it's off to anodizing:
